About Us
Sigma Tau Gamma was established and founded nationally in Warrensburg, Missouri on June 28, 1920. As the first fraternity to be chartered at the University of Central Missouri, we continue to lead the Fraternity and Sorority Life community in campus development, new member education, outstanding scholarship, and public relations all by raising fraternal standards and following our six founding principles of value, learning, leadership, excellence, benefit, and integrity.
Sigma Tau Gamma develops its men from the time they join all the way through their personal and professional lives. Chapter members are involved in numerous on and off campus organizations. Members take pride in their leadership and presence in the Warrensburg community. Along with community and campus involvement, Sigma Tau Gamma emphasizes continued academic excellence for all of its members. Sigma Tau Gamma is proud to earn a higher grade point average than the all men’s average and all campus average.
